Almost There

The Logical Heart Knows Best

We watched Die Hard last night. It was way better than I expected. I enjoyed it. I loved that Alan Rickman played the villain. I thought it would be too cheeky with the wisecracks, but it wasn’t. It was a nail-biter. We plan on watching the sequels too.

Three more days! When I began this daily blogging challenge, the end of the year seemed so distant. With all the days before me, I wondered if I could keep it up. Here we are! I’m almost at the finish line! Yay!

Blogging every day also kept me in check with the rest of my daily habits. To blog, I need a clear head, so it’s made me maintain healthy habits. Blogging anchored my days. I knew that no matter what, I would be productive by blogging. I neglected no day. There was proof with the blog post. I at least got a blog post in. It brought order to my days when the flow of time was so unstructured because of changes caused by the pandemic.

I’ve started a sentence, then deleted it four times now. There’s nothing I want to write about. My health is still an issue, but I don’t care to write about it anymore. I’m thankful to be breathing and watching movies like Die Hard, lol.

I listened to two books today while doing PT. The snow flurries were dancing outside, and I stopped to peek out the windows, appreciating the smooth white expanse of pristine snow.

I am mulling over ideas of what I wish to work on for the new year. The roller coaster I’ve been on with my health has me hesitant to make plans. That’s why I want to keep it loose and meander, play it by ear.

I accept that I won’t be as productive or sociable as I’d like to be. That’s okay. I am grateful I have kept up with this daily blogging and have made progress on some of my goals. 2021 has to be better!

I wrote a paragraph, then deleted it, heh. I’m so glad there are only three more days of this!

I’m giving in and signing off. Time to watch the season finale of His Dark Materials!
