I never managed to keep a diary when I was younger. I read The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and that’s when I finally developed a journaling habit and it’s been a lifesaver! If you want to improve your life, the habit of journaling will serve you well. Once I got the hang of it, I’ve been doing it ever since and it helps me so much.
