Healthy Anger
As a woman, I struggle with anger. I’ve been taught that I am a bad person if I feel or express anger. So when I get angry I simultaneously feel like I’m doing something I’ll get in trouble for, like I’m wrong for feeling anger. We have emotions for a reason. They are to help us maintain healthy boundaries and when channeled effectively, by digging deep and deciphering what our feelings are communicating to us, we get to the truth so we can do what’s best for ourselves. We can pause, investigate and process our emotions responsibly and healthily.
Hi! I was an RN, BSN in mental/behavioral health for 27 years. Now I’m helping empower caring people like me to prioritize themselves by maintaining healthier boundaries for more freedom, peace, and joy.
