
Long Covid Experience
I’ve been on a long covid roller coaster. I’m thankful things weren’t worse, but this has been something else. At first, I was clueless, but the longer it went on, I knew something was wrong. Then more and more people began reporting the same difficulties. I’ve been treating the symptoms as best I can, but so far, there’s no quick and easy fix. I’ve learned a lot about surrender and acceptance. I am more compassionate and nonjudgmental than ever for sure. We never know fully how it is to walk in another’s shoes until the same thing happens to us. You can be ill and no amount of tricks and tweaks can make it better. No matter how many well-meaning people suggest you try their health and energy-boosting tips. Sometimes you try everything you can to get better and alas, you’re still sick. You’re not a failure. These bodies are not invincible no matter how much we believe in mind over matter… ♡
